Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter Honored as First Recipient of ChefsBest Quality in Craft Award

San Francisco, Oct. 13, 2016 – In a blind taste test of almond butter with inclusions conducted by Certified Master Tasters at the ChefsBest Center for Taste in San Francisco, Betsy’s Best® Gourmet Almond Butter surpassed quality standards to become the inaugural recipient of the newly established ChefsBest Quality in Craft Award.
According to ChefsBest’s Certified Master Tasters, Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter has a rich texture that is both crunchy and thick with strong notes of cinnamon, almond and toasted characters. It remained flavorful when served on whole wheat toast and was defined as both sweet and salty. These characteristics are what led to the product surpassing quality standards as compared to the quality definition defined by the expert panel at the start of the evaluation.
The ChefsBest Quality in Craft Award is the newest award in the ChefsBest portfolio. Launched in August, the award utilizes the same proprietary judging method used when determining the prestigious and nationally recognized ChefsBest Best Taste and Excellence awards.
